Born and raised in Timmins, Mike Bilodeau knows the value of a Northern community and what it takes to be of service to one.
Mike has worked with the public for many years as both a sales representative for a major nutrition company as well as in the food and hospitality industry. Ultimately, he made the switch to real estate when he realized the limitless potential of the field and the meaningful work it provides.
Mike was thrilled to get in on the ground floor of Zieminski Real Estate, eager to work alongside Lauren, while helping the brokerage expand throughout Northern Ontario. He knows that passion, ambition and hard work are what drive Zieminski Real Estate, and jumped at the chance to align himself with the company.
He recognizes that buying a home is likely the single biggest purchase of his clients’ lives, and takes great pride in doing everything he can to make the experience as straight-forward and enjoyable as possible.
When he isn’t showing, selling or listing a home, Mike can be found on the golf course in the summer, on the rink in the winter, or out walking his two dogs--Mr. Aldo and Benelli--along with his partner Karli.
The best Realtors® are the ones who truly know the value of their market and Lauren knows the value of Northern Ontario through and through. Born and raised at Big Nellie Lake, just minutes outside of Iroquois Falls, the North has always provided her a sense of belonging. It’s a place Lauren is proud to call home.
In college, Lauren earned a diploma in Small and Medium Enterprise Management at Algonquin in Ottawa. Afterward, she spent some time working as a family relocation advisor for military members and in a management role at a large retailer. But Real Estate was something that had always been of great interest to her. So in 2011, Lauren moved to Mississauga to pursue that goal, which turned out to be her true passion. Lauren spent over two years working as an assistant for a highly experienced Realtor® in Southern Ontario while she earned her Ontario Real Estate License.
After six years in crowded Southern Ontario, Lauren realized how much she missed summers at the lake, and winters at her family’s camp on the Abitibi River. She knew it was time to come home to Iroquois Falls.
Lauren packed up her life in the city and made the 8-hour trek back up Highway 11. Since then she has become a top producing Realtor® in the area and completed her Broker designation, launching Zieminski Real Estate in September 2021.
The benefits of living in Northern Ontario have never been more clear. And given the chance, she can show you the unique advantages to making the North your home as well.
Jessica Fortin is the friendly face you’ll see when you pop into Zieminski Real Estate (ZRE) headquarters. As the Office Manager, she draws on her background in marketing and customer relations, managing a variety of tasks, and keeping ZRE on track for exponential growth. She arrived in Northern Ontario in 2019, and it didn’t take long for her to connect with Lauren, who eventually sold Jessica and her husband their home. Jessica is originally from Espanola, but spent some pivotal years living in Cold Lake, Alberta working as the sole-proprietor for her own business, Jessified Cleaning. She then took on the exciting role of Client Relationship Manager with What Tool's Inside, a social media engagement and marketing firm out of Florida. No stranger to entrepreneurship or hard work, Jessica is thrilled to be a part of such a unique business that provides a vital service to the area. One of the main things Jessica has noticed about living in the North is the unparalleled sense of community, and she knows her role with Zieminski Real Estate will only help foster her desire to serve. When she isn’t helping the ZRE wheels turn, you can find her out on the ATV trails with her husband, or at home with her two cats and rambunctious husky mix, Mia.

He is currently editing all of Lauren’s video content, working quickly to keep up with the high demand for homes in the area.
